Our Story
Central Sports Management LLC (CSM) is more than just a career management organization; it’s a testament to dedication and passion for the game. Founded by U.S. Navy Veteran James Shubert, CSM embodies a commitment to excellence and mentorship in the world of soccer.
James Shubert’s journey began in California, where he honed his skills playing soccer in the AYSO system. With a successful 20-year career in the U.S. Navy, James transitioned to soccer and identified a crucial gap in guidance for young athletes at the U-16 level and beyond. Drawing from his experience in the military, where he trained, mentored, and educated individuals, James recognized the transformative power of knowledge, guidance, and encouragement in shaping one’s career.
Driven by a desire to make a difference, James embarked on a new mission—to build Central Sports Management. With a full-speed-ahead approach, CSM was established to provide comprehensive support and mentorship to soccer athletes, helping them navigate the complexities of the industry and achieve their full potential.
CSM boasts industry expertise, holding PFSA Level I, II, and III certifications, along with Safe Sport and U.S. Soccer Coaching 9v9 and 11v11 certifications. Additionally, the organization’s coaching experience with Soccer Shots U-8 Grassroots underscores its commitment to grassroots development and nurturing talent from a young age.
